  • Susan (SusieSunshine) Bimes. " Finding Your New Beginning "
" Finding Your New Beginning "
    Susan (SusieSunshine) Bimes
My books have been such a blessing for me to write, not for the money, or for the people that I know that say oh wow You have wrote books, that part of it means so little compared to when someone I know gets my book and tellsme they have it by their bed and it helps them feel peace to go to sleep.Or when someone is hurting so much and they tell methey didn't know anyone would understand and know theirpain, and they find someone that has gone through thevery thing and are a survivor. When I know that my pain or heartache can helpsomeone else to find a healing or get lead back to God.When I find out that God had poured into me to pourout to someone I could never have met in real life but they were lead to pick up the book and hear what He wanted them to know. That's my real payment, that's my blessing.
  • Henry McGrath. "... and the Tao became flesh"
"... and the Tao became flesh"
    Henry McGrath
This book examines Chinese medicine and acupuncture from a Christian perspective. Chinese medicine is based on Taoist principles, and Christians believe that Tao became a human person with the birth of Christ. Thus the highest level of healing, the cure of the spirit, is found in Christ.

"...that they should believe a lie."
    James W. Allen
There is a very short period of time between the rapture of the church and the antichrist taking leadership of the world. This cannot take place unless he has established his place in the world before the rapture. This book depicts one possible way that could happen. Be assured, it will happen this way or another and it could be nearing completion.

"61 Minutes". Reflections and Homilies from the Year of Mark
    Rev. Michael W. Rothan
This book is the fruit of holy hours and meditations on the readings for Sunday Mass throughout the year. The author journeys with us on the road to the "Kingdom." This book is not so much a map or a guide for the journey, as much as it is a rest stop along the way; allowing us to gather our own thoughts and reflections of what it means to be a "child of God".
  • J. Spencer Fluhman. "A Peculiar People". Anti-Mormonism and the Making of Religion in Nineteenth-Century America
"A Peculiar People". Anti-Mormonism and the Making of Religion in Nineteenth-Century America
    J. Spencer Fluhman
Though the U.S. Constitution guarantees the free exercise of religion, it does not specify what counts as a religion. From its founding in the 1830s, Mormonism, a homegrown American faith, drew thousands of converts but far more critics. In "A Peculiar People", J. Spencer Fluhman offers a comprehensive history of anti-Mormon thought and the associated passionate debates about religious authenticity in nineteenth-century America. He argues that understanding anti-Mormonism provides critical insight into the American psyche because Mormonism became a potent symbol around which ideas about religion and the state took shape. Fluhman documents how Mormonism was defamed, with attacks often aimed at polygamy, and shows how the new faith supplied a social enemy for a public agitated by the popular press and wracked with social and economic instability. Taking the story to the turn of the century, Fluhman demonstrates how Mormonism's own transformations, the result of both choice and outside force, sapped the strength of the worst anti-Mormon vitriol, triggering the acceptance of Utah into the Union in 1896 and also paving the way for the dramatic, yet still grudging, acceptance of Mormonism as an American religion.

"Autarchy" in the thought of Clement of Alexandria. A paradigm for establishing a "greed line" in the Indian context
    Anish John
Master's Thesis from the year 2016 in the subject Theology - Historic Theology, Ecclesiastical History, , language: English, abstract: This study is an exploration into the concept of Autarchy in Clement of Alexandria towards establishing a greed line for Indian Context. The economic and financial breakdowns, bankrupt nations and alarming ecological degradation have all constantly raised concerns for linking Poverty, Wealth, Ecology and its legitimacy. Rising Governmental policies and checks against unethical financial gains, unaccounted income by individuals or corporate all directs towards a more subtle, ethical and social change. Greed and legitimate use of wealth seemingly a spiritual and moral imperative, now seeks discussion even for structural changes in national or transnational policies. The religious fabric of Christianity owes an unprecedented responsible attitude to the concerns of Greed, poverty and wealth. This concern is a responsibility of diakonia not of any exclusivist superior claims in a Pluralistic context. World Council of Churches has extended discussions focusing on poverty, wealth and ecology since its 8th Assembly at Harare, 1998 directly with AGAPE (Alternative Globalization Addressing People and Earth) process. Also, the WCC's motto of preferential option for people in poverty remains relevant today. However, the Early Christian wealth of Social sensitivity and Philosophical tradition of Patristics remain unexplored in contemporary discussion...
  • Kelly Pollock. "Between the Worlds"
    "Between the Worlds"
    Kelly Pollock
Many religions have clearly defined sacred spaces, but feminist Wicca identifies no such places. Sacred space in feminist Wicca is constructed anew during each ritual, so ritual can be performed in any location, and sacred spaces of feminist witches are not physical places. Feminist witches believe that the space they inhabit during the ritual is "between the worlds" of the earthly world and the world of the divine. Theories of sacred space do not seem adequate to explain such a construction; a clearer distinction between sacred place and sacred space could be helpful in understanding both feminist Wiccan rituals and also more mainstream religious rituals. This book first reviews literature on sacred space and then discusses feminist Wicca and demonstrates the inadequacy of the recent literature on sacred space in understanding the experience of feminist Wiccan ritual. The book then discusses the second-wave feminist background of feminist witches as an important influence on the nature of their ritual construction and concludes with a move toward a new way of understanding sacred space that distinguishes between physical location and ritually-constructed sacred space.

  • Stanley O. Lotegeluaki. "Christians existed before the Big Bang and will exist after the collapse of this Universe"
"Christians existed before the Big Bang and will exist after the collapse of this Universe"
    Stanley O. Lotegeluaki
The Bible more then seven times says the universe is a closed universe and that once it stops expanding it will contract and collapse on itself. King David was the first to mention it in the psalms, then Isaiah, then Jesus mentioned it in three gospels and finally Paul, Peter and John of Revelation all left us a message that the universe will one day collapse on itself. Science is just finding out today and is thousands of years behind the Bible. Also the Bible speaks of life before the big bang and life after the collapse of this present universe. This book reveals all the passages that comment on these things and a 200 billion-year history of Christianity is chronologically opened for Physicist's to children to understand. This book is serious reading for Scientists and Theologians , but can be understood and is written for all Christians. It was written by a Physics student who got born again and it combines modern physics and new found concepts in the Bible. This book is Christian physics for those students of science who are struggling with Science and Christ.
  • Kathleen M McCann. "Comfort My People". Saith your God
"Comfort My People". Saith your God
    Kathleen M McCann
In an age of human distress and alienation, this book seeks to establish that the major cause is found in the breakdown of relationships between people. Drawing on experience and research done by psychotherapists such as Erik Erikson, Abraham Maslow, John Bowlby, Donald Winnicott, Sue Gerhardt and Sarah Litvinoff, and placing this understanding within a biblical context, the author has achieved a relatively short and readable work.Spending some years in classes for Counsellor Training, the author saw similarities in how people behave within all human groups. She sees comfort as "soothing balm to the afflicted human spirit" and has sought to place this within the context of human relations, with safety, belonging and acceptance underpinning human welfare. From morality to the imperative of containing strong emotions and from jealousy and anger to unity, this book is a striking attempt to embrace the problems we all encounter in today's society.
